Duration: minimum 6 weeks

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Workshop Facilitator to lead extracurricular workshops that complement non-formal education programs. These workshops may cover a variety of themes and range from short, one-time sessions to extended series, depending on the objectives and the facilitator’s availability. The workshop Facilitator will play a vital role in guiding participants through their learning process, creating a positive, collaborative environment, and helping them achieve their goals. This role can be considered an internship.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and facilitate extracurricular workshops on various themes, ensuring they align with th educational goals of the program and the needs of the participants.
  • Tailor the workshops content and delivery method to suit different group sizes, participant backgrounds, and learning levels.
  • Prepare and organise all necessary materials, resources and equipment for each workshop, ensuring that everything is in place for a smooth and effective session.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship during the workshops, helping participants to stay engaged, motivated and on track with their learning objectives.
  • Work closely with other team members and stakeholders to ensure that the workshops complement and enhance the overall educational offerings of the program.

Qualifications & requirements:

  • Proven knowledge and experience in the subject area you plan to facilitate
  • proficiency in English
  • Prior experience in teaching, training, or facilitating workshops is highly desirable, with a focus on interactive, participatory learning
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage workshop logistics efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants in a learning environment
