Position Description:
As a Web Designer and Internal Tools Developer, you will work in a collaborative, innovative, and small team environment to lead the digital transformation of our company. You will be responsible for designing a user-friendly, modern website while also creating internal tools that enhance communication, improve workflows, and simplify information sharing across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Revamp:
- Redesign and modernize our website to reflect our brand and services.
- Ensure the website is responsive, visually appealing, and optimized for user experience (UX) and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Integrate tools like customer contact forms, booking systems, or knowledge-sharing platforms.
Internal Tools Development:
- Create web-based tools to improve internal communication and collaboration (e.g., shared dashboards, file management systems, and team notification tools).
- Simplify and automate repetitive tasks through digital solutions.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members to understand their workflows and design tools that address their needs.
- Provide training and documentation for using the new tools.
Maintenance and Support:
- Regularly update and maintain the website and internal tools to ensure security and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in web design (e.g., UX/UI design) or software development are also valuable.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP).
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal.
- Knowledge of database management (e.g., MySQL) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with design tools (Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch).
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a small team.
