Main Responsibilities:
Muslim Hands is seeking a dynamic and experienced Systems Accountant to lead the imple-mentation of a bespoke budget and finance management system for our grant-receiving part-ners. This role is critical in ensuring smooth onboarding, system integration, and ongoing sup-port to enhance financial management practices across our partner network.
• Implement the bespoke budget and finance management system across grant-receiving partners.
• Collaborate with finance and program teams to ensure system alignment with opera-tional needs.
• Manage system configuration, data migration, and integration processes.
• Provide training and onboarding support to partners and internal teams.
• Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation to facilitate system adop-tion.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
• Work closely with IT and external vendors to manage system updates and enhance-ments.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and donor reporting requirements.
• Support change management initiatives to promote system adoption and efficiency.

Essential: Ideal Candidate will:
• Possess or be willing to obtain a (UK equivalent of) DBS Certificate.
• Disclose any actual or perceived Conflicts of Interest, if applicable.
• Demonstrate familiarity or experience with Safeguarding practices.
• Bring at least 3 years of experience in implementing finance systems and managing onboarding processes.
• Show a proven ability to support clients or teams with tailored finance and budget systems.
• Possess a solid background in the charity or non-profit sector.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of financial processes, budgeting, and grant management.
• Display excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, including the ability to train and support diverse teams.
• Be skilled in financial software systems and proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable:
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
• Experience with low-code/no-code financial systems.
• Knowledge of international grant management and donor compliance requirements.
• Have knowledge or experience in Anti-Money Laundering practices.
