Position Summary
Living Water International is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee the effective implementation of our country program in Haiti. This individual will provide strategic and technical guidance across our core programming areas: Water Access, Hygiene and Sanitation Promotion, Church and Community Mobilization (CCM), and Monitoring & Evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of program strategies in alignment with LWI’s global strategic plan.
- Ensure all programming meets Living Water International’s global quality standards.
- Oversee and guide field-level Program Coordinators in areas such as design, delivery, staff performance, training, and monitoring.
- Co-lead project design and logical framework development with the Senior Management Team.
- Manage project budgets, conduct financial analysis, and ensure effective procurement processes.
- Write and submit high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor implementation and provide direct support to field staff.
- Manage sub-contractors, consultants, and external partners implementing key program components.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the WASH Program Area (WPA).
- Support capacity building within the team and contribute to a positive, mission-driven work culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in agronomy, public health, international development, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in program design, implementation, and leadership within the development sector.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in budget management and financial analysis.
- Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated success in holistic, community-based development programming.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills.
- Fluency in English and French or Haitian Creole preferred. Spanish is a plus.
