The HHI M&E for Humanitarian Programs Workshop provides an overview of the basic principles and methodologies for program monitoring and evaluation with emphasis on practical application for humanitarian researchers and practitioners.
The course will provide conceptual frameworks for mixed methods use (both qualitative and quantitative) in program monitoring and evaluation. Methodological and implementation challenges and applications in program assessment, impact, development, interventions, and overall implementation will be discussed. In addition, the course will provide an introduction to the capabilities of digital tools and research resources for increasing quality and efficiency of data collection, access, analysis, and visualization.
The intended audience for this workshop of courses is NGO and UN workers, national and local government disaster preparedness planners, and other professionals involved in the development, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian programs.
