Job Purpose

The Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in visually representing the mission, activities, and impact of the Dollani Initiative. By creating compelling and visually appealing designs, the Graphic Designer will help us effectively communicate our message to the world, promote our programs and initiatives, and support our fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design: Create visually engaging and compelling designs for various digital and print materials, including but not limited to:

  • Social media graphics
  • Infographics
  • Reports and publications
  • Promotional materials
  • Website graphics
  • Event materials

Photo and Video Editing: Assist in editing and enhancing photos and videos to be used in various communication materials.

Branding: Maintain and enhance the Dollani Initiative visual identity and brand consistency across all communication channels.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams within the communication department and program departments to understand project requirements and deliver designs that align with the organization’s goals.

Content Creation: Contribute creative ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects that promote the organization’s work.

Deadline Management: Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, managing multiple design tasks simultaneously.

Feedback Integration: Actively seek and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to continuously improve design materials.

Respect and apply all the PSEA principles and show a high commitment to report any SEA action.

Note: the above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative but not exhaustive. Another future responsibilities/accountability may be assigned to the job based on the department’s demands and requirement.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Knowledge of video editing software is a must.
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Sensitivity to cultural and humanitarian issues related to the region is preferred.
