Main tasks
- Managing social media accounts, developing and implementing an OCC Greece communication strategy
- Writing blog articles (journalism, advocacy, narration, etc.)
- Supporting strategic communications campaigns about specific topics when required
- Support with creating and editing web pages, designing flyers, copywriting, sending newsletters and emails, etc.
- Supporting the production and design of OCC reports/documents for external publication
- Use of communication equipment for the production of communicational material
- Collaborating with OCC Spain for the newsletter content creation
- Organising OCC Google Drive
- Ensure good communication/information between the community and the OCC.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Political Sciences, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, and Related Fields
- Good level of English
- Excellent digital skills (social media, Canva, photography, video making, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to work in teams in a fast-paced environment and ability to lead OCC Greece’s communication strategy
- Organisational skills and problem-solving
- Awareness and ability to work in a diverse, delicate, and difficult context with empathy and open mindedness.
- Knowledge of WordPress is a plus
- Previous experience working with people with a migration background in a similar context will be an asset.
Volunteer requirements established by ESC program (*)
- Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old.
- To have a legal residence permit in an EU country.
- Never having done an ESC volunteering before.
(*) Candidates that don’t meet these requirements won’t be able to be considered as potential candidates for this volunteer position.

European Solidarity Corps program. - This means that volunteering provides:
- Travel costs coverage: Up to the limits established in the Erasmus+ Guide distance
calculator from the volunteer’s region of residency to our center, and back - Free Accommodation (shared room): Provided in Polykastro. The flat is fully
equipped (kitchen, bathrooms, washing machine, wifi, etc.) - Monthly allowance: 330 euros per month
