The Opportunity – Child protection Information Management Officer.
Post location: Gaza Office and subject to change based on SC priorities and response in Gaza.
Contract Duration and Level of Effort: 12 months.
ROLE PURPOSE:
The purpose of this job is to support the CP Case Management team in all aspects of information management, ensuring that CP information is effectively managed to facilitate case management and other efforts.
Under the supervision of the case management coordinator and with technical support from the Case Management Specialist, the CPIMS officer will work to ensure that all case management data (including CP concerns, case plans, follow-up actions, and case closure) is documented, thereby ensuring adherence to confidentiality protocols. In addition, the CPIMS officer will ensure that achievements are systematically captured in the relevant narrative and numerical reporting formats.

**Role Dimensions:**oPt CO is a high complexity country, multi-member interest, with an annual budget of around $40+m, and 100+ staff. Currently the program is experiencing a growth in funding and complexity due to the war in Gaza.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Needs Analysis and Program Design:
- Participate in required assessments
- Contribute to situation analysis and participate actively in developing a child protection and child rights governance strategy
Program Implementation: Case Management
- Ensure the regular, timely, and accurate entry of case files into the database, as well as follow-up information
- With Case Management manager and coordinator train the CM staff, on CPIMS program.
- Document all cases registered and compile all forms according to the procedures and information management needs
- Work closely with the CM staff to ensure that follow-up monitoring is done for all children with protection concerns and update the database accordingly.
- Produce monthly, disaggregated statistics and qualitative updates of progress on case management
- Ensure that the data related to children is safe and shared as per Save the Children’s procedures and policies
- Carry out the responsibilities of the role in a way that reflects Save the Children’s commitment to safeguarding children in accordance with the Child Safeguarding Policy
- Comply with all relevant Save the Children policies and procedures with respect to health and safety, security, equal opportunities and other relevant policies.
- Document all technical issues identified in the Help-desk tracker.
- Notify the national administrator of any technical issues that cannot be resolved at their level after updating the Help Desk Tracker.
- Receive completed Tracing request forms from the National Admin and forward them to the relevant supervisor to assign the caseworker.
- Generate reports and statistics for their agency from the CPIMS Update users on key changes or updates related to the CPIMS+.
- Recommend the users to be added or removed from the CPIMS+.
- 4W inputs submitted and sharing online 5th each month with MEAL Coo.
- Updating the CM training tracker in each training and the trainer will share activity report, attendance sheet, Pre-test and Post-test with his line manager and IM.
- Updating satisfaction tracker resending by CM officers and integrated it in our reports for all grants.
- Output Tracker sharing online 10th each month with MEAL Coo.
- Master Dataset sharing online 11th each month with MEAL Coo.
- HART inputs Sharing before 10th each month with AMC Coo.
- QB Sharing quarterly with MEAL.
- Any other duties as assigned
Other data entry
- Ensure that the relevant reporting formats (IPTT, narrative) are updated and submitted to the CP Program Officer on a timely basis

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Essential
- At least 3 years of work experience in a humanitarian context with an NGO or UN organization
- Computer literate (Strong skills in Micro office application (Word, Excel …..etc)
- Ability to do data entry very fast and accurately.
- Good understanding of key areas of Child Protection programming; knowledge of other sectors such as education and health is considered an asset
- Willingness and ability to dramatically change work practices and increase work hours in the event of emergencies
- able to write and communicate in English; willingness to further improve English language skills
- Ability to participate in data collection, feeding and reports generation
- Strong representational and communication skills
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Ability and willingness to be mobile
- Experience of working in an insecure environment
- Experience of working in Monitoring and Evaluation is an asset
- Good level of physical health and fitness
