The Finance Project Manager (FPM) is coordinating the financial planning, implementation and reporting of the AutRC supported programmes in Ukraine for conflict affected people and is responsible for the support of the CVA activities in these programmes, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) as well as other Red Cross Red Crescent Movement and external partners.
Under the guidance and supervision of the finance department of the Headquarters the Finance Assistant provides financial services, ensures high quality, accuracy and consistency.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Lead as finance project manager the process and coordinate with the delegation team
- Work closely in with the Ukraine Red Cross to support the response to the crisis
- Establish and monitor financial processes within the project team and with partners in Ukraine
- Prepare forecasts, budgets and ensure proper finance and reporting flow
- Verify expenditure documents
- Maintenance of the filing system and documentation
- Cash Management
- Ensure the implementation of donor requirements
- Coordinate preparation of financial reports and transmission to headquarters in Vienna.
- Monitors the cash an voucher assistance activities
- Work base: Kyiv, with frequent travels in the country
Qualifications and skills
- Valid EU work permit
- University Degree in Business Administration or relevant finance experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent English skills: Experience in Ukrainian and /or Russian is a strong asset, German is an asset
- Experience in working in finance / project management in an international team/internationally
- Experience with Cash and Voucher Assistance is an asset
- Excellent software skills (MS Office, Navision, cooperative working tools,…)
- Driving license (for cars) needed
- Work experience in Ukraine an asset
- Experience in working with international humanitarian or development cooperation projects
- Experience of work with the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement is an asset
What we offer
- Job location: Ukraine (based in Kyiv, work travels in country as required)
- Start of employment: as soon as possible
- Duration: 1 year (extendable)
- Working time: full-time
- Compensation: min € 4.200,00 (gross/month) depending on qualification and experience
- Accommodation in Ukraine is provided by the AutRC
