Position Title: Case-worker
Location: NSPPL Centers : AFRIN – AL BAB – JARABLUS
Reports To: Senior Project Officer

Closing date : 01-12-2024
Contract duration : 7 months

About NSPPL:
The National Syrian Project for Prosthetic Limbs (NSPPL) was established in 2013 in Reyhanli, southern Turkey, by a group of Syrians in response to those affected by the war in Syria and in need of prosthetic limbs. NSPPL is the first non-profit of its kind in Northern Syria and Turkey to support amputees in recuperating and integrating into a self-sufficient autonomous lifestyle.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Initial assessment of the patients’ condition (medical, psychological, living, social) and determining the need based on it (one by one); Within the center or field visits.
  • Developing an appropriate treatment plan for each case and following up treatment plans with the rest of the departments.
  • Regular updating of referral cases and the map of services in coordination with partners and ensuring that beneficiaries receive the required services.
  • Ensure that there is a special file for each patient that includes a description of the case and the sessions provided,
  • Responsibility for the progress of treatment plans for patients in coordination with other departments
  • Develop daily and weekly work plans for all departments in coordination with them.
  • Maintaining patient confidence and confidentiality of his information.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications & requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sociology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Social Worker, or similar position.
  • excellent Arabic writing and speaking skills. The English language added value,
  • Good experience in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel….) and using the Internet.
  • Ability to work within a team structure or in isolation, flexible, and can cope with stressful workloads and working with limited resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
