Crest Point for Consultancy and Development (CPCD), established in 2018, is an independent international consulting company dedicated to driving data-driven, sustainable, and lasting development solutions for clients, partners, and communities. CPCD operates across the MENA region, including countries like Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Yemen, Ukraine, Lebanon, and North Africa. Objective:
As a Business Development Intern, you will collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager, reporting directly to them. Your primary focus will be on identifying and fostering new business opportunities, with a strong emphasis on proposal writing and preparing bid submissions for a diverse range of clients, including UN agencies, I/NGOs, and other donor organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research bids or proposals as required
- Assist the BD department in drafting and preparing technical proposals for research, evaluations, baseline/endline assessments, needs assessments, capacity building, and other relevant tasks
- Collaborate with the BD Head to identify and explore new business opportunities
- Help ensure timely submission of all proposal documents · Assist with communication with clients during the proposal development process
- Ensure adherence to deadlines and assist in managing timelines effectively
- Review and support the work of other BD interns and staff to ensure quality
- Assist in the proposal submission process as guided by the BD Head and Senior Management Team
- Perform additional business development-related tasks as needed to support the organization’s goals
Location:
This is a remote position; however, as CPCD’s operations are primarily based in Turkey, preference will be given to candidates residing in countries within a three-hour time zone difference from Turkey Organizational Structure: You will report directly to the Business Development Head. You will also work closely with junior staff within the BD unit.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications:
- Previous experience or strong interest in business development, including familiarity with preparing bids and tenders for M&E, research, and capacity-building opportunities (highly preferred)
- Exceptional writing skills with an ability to create clear, compelling content (required)
- Native or highly proficient English speaker (required)
- A relevant university degree (e.g., in social sciences, M&E, development studies, or related fields)
- Basic understanding of the development and humanitarian sectors
- Strong organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines are met
- Comfortable and effective working in a multicultural environment
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally in a collaborative and dynamic environment
