CANADEM is seeking humanitarian experts with experience working in Haiti for its Haiti Operational Roster. CANADEM is a Canadian-based NGO that works with various UN agencies and multilateral operations. We regularly deploy candidates in various areas of expertise all around the globe, both in the field and HQ.
Registration with CANADEM is always free. We are looking to expand our pool of experts for upcoming deployment opportunities for humanitarian and operational interventions in Haiti. Most deployments will be 6-12 months in duration.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in the humanitarian and/or development sectors
- Previous experience in Haiti in one of the following areas:
- Operational Planning
- Logistics
- Air Movement
- Fleet Management
- Life Support (Food Security, WASH, Nutrition, Shelter, etc.)
- Fluency in French, English, and preferably Haitian Creole
- Experience in programme delivery, coordination, or other technical areas of expertise
- University degree in a relevant area
