Purpose of Assignment: The Project Assistant will provide support to the health program interventions and provide technical support to ensure that project goals are met. This role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering health interventions to vulnerable populations, The assistant will work closely with project teams, community partners, and beneficiaries to ensure the effective delivery of health services. The rationale for this post is: to improve the workflow as related to health programs. Also, to support both Jordan health programming and potential regional health programs.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Mobilize the target communities on the health component of the project.
• Assist the Senior Health Program Officer to ensure the community tasks are fully functional.
• Enter the project data in the specific database
• Provide the essential medical and non-medical supplies for its respective health facilities.
• Assist the Senior Health Program Officer on coordination in relation to any types of medical and non- medical supplies required for the respective project.
• Collect and file the project health-related data and share with the health sector-designated staff.
• Help in preparing regular reports on project progress.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly work plans in a timely manner
• Provide support for organizing visits, meetings, events, training, and sessions related to this Health Program.
• Maintain the proper documentation of all stages of the project planning and implementation, data records, and share with the relevant departments.
• referral of special cases to other service providers for further support needed
• Other tasks assigned by the Senior Health Program Officer
THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory Qualifications required:
• Bachelor’s degree in any medical field
• Experience in implementing health interventions, project management, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts.
• Knowledge of specific cultural and contextual factors relevant to the target population.
• Willingness to travel to remote locations.

Fluent written and spoken in Arabic

Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and Windows operating system.
