JOB DESCRIPTION

The Incubator Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the incubator program in Raqqa or Deir Ezzor. This includes supporting entrepreneurs, facilitating training and mentorship programs, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to foster an innovative and collaborative environment for startups and small businesses.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Program Implementation & Coordination

  • Oversee the implementation of the incubator program, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Coordinate the selection process for entrepreneurs and startups joining the incubator.
  • Develop and execute work plans, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Facilitate access to training, mentorship, and business development services for incubated entrepreneurs.

2. Support for Entrepreneurs & Startups

  • Provide guidance and support to entrepreneurs in developing business plans and strategies.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions, networking events, and workshops.
  • Connect entrepreneurs with mentors, investors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of startups, providing recommendations for improvement.

3. Operations & Administration

  • Manage incubator resources, ensuring availability and proper use of equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records, including participant data, progress reports, and activity logs.
  • Ensure compliance with organization policies and donor requirements.
  • Prepare periodic reports on program implementation and impact.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Networking

  • Build relationships with local business communities, universities, and government entities to enhance incubator support.
  • Represent the organization in meetings, workshops, and networking events.
  • Coordinate with local and international partners to leverage additional resources and expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS

COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development, entrepreneurship programs, or incubator management.
  • Experience in humanitarian or development projects is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in Arabic is required; knowledge of English is an advantage.
