Amani South Sudan (formerly Amani Orphans and Widows Welfare Services Inc.) is a women- and youth-led humanitarian organization based in Juba, South Sudan. We empower vulnerable communities through education, climate resilience, women’s empowerment, and humanitarian assistance. Amidst one of the world’s most urgent humanitarian crises—including the growing displacement resulting from conflict in the region—Amani South Sudan remains on the ground every day, delivering life-saving support to those most affected.

We are currently seeking to expand our international funding base to respond to critical needs and to invest in sustainable, community-driven solutions. Specifically, we are intensifying our resource mobilization efforts to secure grants and funding that will strengthen initiatives in climate resilience, youth and women’s empowerment, and grassroots community initiatives — with a particular focus on reaching the most vulnerable populations across South Sudan.

Today, South Sudan is experiencing a complex humanitarian emergency, compounded by increasing displacement, heightened food insecurity, and reduced access to essential services. Vulnerable families are facing the erosion of livelihoods, limited access to education and healthcare, and growing protection concerns. Despite these immense challenges, Amani South Sudan remains unwavering in its commitment to deliver critical education programs, psychosocial support, and humanitarian aid, prioritizing women, children, displaced persons, and refugee communities in the most affected areas.

With strengthened support, we aim to build greater resilience and restore hope for communities facing unprecedented hardships.
