JOB SUMMARY
The pediatric resident doctor will be responsible for providing medical care to children under the supervision of pediatricians and overseeing patient management in the pediatric department. The role requires adherence to clinical protocols, MedGlobal policies, and collaboration with departmental heads and coordinators.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Pediatric Resident Doctor has the following responsibilities and duties:
- Provide medical care to children under the supervision of pediatricians
- Follow clinical protocols and MedGlobal policies for patient care.
- Complete and maintain accurate patient records, including history sheets and other forms as directed by Clinical Administration.
- Provide written handovers at the beginning and end of duty shifts.
- Seek consultations and make referrals to specialists and consultants as per clinical protocols and MedGlobal policies.
- Assist in managing critical cases.
- Participate in medical rounds and update records.
- Evaluate and diagnose medical conditions.
- Facilitate ongoing education and skill development for the healthcare team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Should have the following skills, education, and experience:
- Medical degree, a certificate in general medicine.
- Implementing the tasks assigned by the direct manager.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
- Willingness to undergo continuous training and professional development.
