About the Opportunity
ARFADA is expanding its pool of Syria-based expert consultants and trainers to support upcoming tenders and projects across a variety of sectors. We are seeking individuals with proven technical expertise and field experience to provide on-demand consulting, training, and capacity-building services.
We are looking for experts in the following thematic areas:
- WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene)
- Protection, GBV (Gender-Based Violence), and Child Protection
- Education
- Health and Reproductive Health
- Livelihoods and Economic Recovery
- Food Security and Nutrition
- Emergency Response and Early Recovery
- Shelter and NFI (Non-Food Items)
- Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability
- Market Systems and Infrastructure
- Peacebuilding and Social Cohesion
- Agriculture and Irrigation
- Human Rights and Justice
- Migration and Displacement
- Policy Development and Advocacy
- Research, M&E (Monitoring & Evaluation), and Data Collection
- Start-up and Entrepreneurship.
- Training and Coaching (across all sectors)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s, or higher in a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the training sector, particularly within humanitarian and/or development contexts
- Strong knowledge of the local context, humanitarian principles, and sectoral standards
- Experience in report writing, policy briefs, and technical documentation
- Language: Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English are required
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
Responsibilities may include:
- Participating in project design, including needs assessments, baseline studies, and evaluations
- Supporting research, analysis, and report development
- Delivering capacity-building workshops and training.
- Providing technical advice aligned with sectoral expertise
- Supporting project implementation and policy design
