PROJECT BASED MONITORING & EVALUATION CONSULTANT (REMOTE)

Role: M&E Consultant (REMOTE)

• Altamont Group is seeking efficient, detail-oriented Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Consultants for project-based engagements

• Depending on specific expertise and experience, you would interpret, manage, and analyse data to translate results into better solutions AND develop cited M&E reports.

Required Skills and Experiences

• Advanced academic qualifications in any of the following: (Bachelors (required); Masters (preferred) Degree MUST be from Accredited University)

▪ Policy/Strategy

▪ Statistics

▪ Assessment

▪ Social Sciences

• Ability to work and write in English is critical

• Additional languages are desired (please specify level of fluency in writing, reading, and speaking)

• Significant experience with quantitative and qualitative assessment methodologies

• deep expertise in writing cited monitoring and evaluation reports

• Understanding of program design, monitoring, and evaluation

• Experience conducting assessments with the ability to share examples

• Expertise completing assessments in challenging contexts

• High level of experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, including surveys, focus group discussions, and interviews

• Excellent data analysis skills and ability to articulate the linkage between findings, analysis, and program recommendations

• Proven experience and track record of timely and high-quality completion of assignments

• High level of organization and time management, as well as an ability to learn quickly and to produce high quality work under tight deadlines

• Good analytical and critical thinking skills

• Flexible attitude toward receiving feedback

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Ability to work cohesively with team members • Expertise with O365, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint

• Ability to collaborate in person and remotely (via Teams, Zoom, etc.)
